Shogun Hat pattern (complete)

I've written this pattern as for one colour. The stitch, I think, is so nice it would work better with a single, simple colour. I'll do that next time... and probably die this one.
I will definitely make this again. The shape is great and it's nice and cool and comfortable. :D

Yarn: DK
Sandnes Garn Mandarin Petit, (blue/green, doubled) 4ply
Sandnes Cito (grey)
Drops Cotton Light (off white) DK/8ply

4mm, 5mm + 5mm DPN

With 4mm needles, CO 88stitches in Sandnes Mandarin Petit.
K4, P4 until work measures 6-7cm

Switch to 5mm needles and Place Marker at the beginning of a group of 4 knit stitches.

Row 1: K2, Make1, K2, P2, Make 1, P2. Repeat to Marker.
Row 2: K5, P5.  Repeat to Marker.
Row 3: Knit

Alternate rows 2 and 3 until work measures 20cms.

Crown: (switch to dpn when necessary)
On a knit row, K1, *K2tog, K3. Repeat from * to Marker.
K4, P4. Repeat to Marker.
K1 *K2, K2tog. Repeat from * to last 3 stitches from marker, K2tog, K1.
K3, P3. Repeat to Marker.
K1, K2tog. Repeat to Marker.
K2, P2. Repeat to Marker.
K2togtbl (knit 2 together throught the back loops), K2tog. Repeat to Marker.
K1, P1. Repeat to Marker.
K2togtgl, to marker.
11 stitches remain. Knit one round with these 11 stitches.
Cut yarn, thread onto a needle, thread through loops and pull tight to close.
Sew/weave in loose ends.
